Back to School
One of the delights of being an adult is the fact that you can practically wake up at any time you want. When I was in school I really disliked waking up in the morning to go to school. Now that my oldest daughter is in school – I have to get her ready for school and so I have to both wake up on time and try to wake her up. But having a child in school does have its perks. Last week I volunteered to give the class an hour and teach them origami. Here are some pictures from the schools blog where we created butterflies and frogs
Next time I might teach them some C# and how to unit test…

Great pictures!
Come and teach me origami next time!
And by the way, not everyone can get up whenever they like. I had a discussion once with someone who started working for himself, instead of being employed. He was like “It’s real nice that I now can decide when to get out of bed in the morning. If I really want to, I can get up 15 minutes later!”
Oh, he also mentioned that he really needed to stop on saturday evening at 20:00 hours. Or else he’d work all weekend.
How’s that?!
Sure Dennis,
I should probably finish each session that I give with a small Origami tip.
Hmm, the exact same thing happened to me, and I worked into the night (2 a.m.), but at least I could wake up late – the small perks of life.
